Faith is different fromreligion. Having a faith is to show gratitude towardsSomething Great, God or as you may call it the Great Natureby which we are allowed to live. You can’t have a faith withoutgratitude, isn’t that so? We all are allowed to live. We can’t livewithout the sun, can we? We can’t exist without the earth. Wecan’t survive without water. We can’t live without plants. Wecan’t live without a country, and it is true we would have notbeen living here without our ancestors.Then, there is the nature that encompasses all these things,and behind that, we will sense the Great Will or Law. In short,it is not human beings that are great. We can also sense thatwe are being loved by Something Great. It is a sense that weare a part of this Something Great, and are allowed to live.
